A 7-year-old girl applied for a job at Google. That’s what Sundar Pichai responded!


Chloe Bridgewater, a 7-year-old UK resident wrote an adorable letter to Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai without expecting a reply. However, the little girl was surprised when she got a reply from Sundar Pichai that in turn boosts her confidence.

Encouraged by father Andy Bridgewater, she wrote a handwritten letter to the world’s biggest search engine, Google for a job. Moreover, she even forwarded an email to the CEO, in case the letter didn’t reach.

Business Insiders reports that Chloe got inspired when she asked her father, the ideal place to work. “And, I said, oh that’s Google, the ideal place to work”, owing to the world-famous work and cutting edge work they do, he says. And when Chloe was encouraged to work there too, her father encouraged for apply and get the ball rolling.

In her letter, she wrote, “I can sit on bean bags, ride go-karts and go down slides in a job at Google. My teachers told my mom and dad, I am very good in class and good in spelling, reading and in my sums. My dad told me I carry being good and one day I will be able to do a job at Google.”

Well, imagine her surprise and delight when she gets back the reply from Google CEO Sundar Pichai. He himself wrote a letter to encourage her to follow dreams, adding “I would look forward to your job letter after you finished school.”

Chloe’s father Andy Bridgewater shared the reply of Sundar Pichai on LinkedIn since then it’s going viral on social media.

Bridgewater told Business Insiders that the small child had lost her confidence followed by a car accident, a couple of years ago. But, her confidence again boosted-up upon the reply of Sundar Pichai.

“She is, even more, being good at school and work for Google”, Bridgewater added.
