On Wednesday, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister; M Venkaiah Naidu said that the filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion”, which is breaking all the records at the Indian Box Office, now turns out as a shining example of the ‘Make In India’ campaign.
Words by Naidu at the 64th National Film Awards, presented by President Pranab Mukherjee at Vigyan Bhavan,
“Make in India” is reflected in almost all the movies that we see one after another. The ‘Make in India’ films are becoming more popular not only in India but all across the globe; whether it is ‘Dangal’ or ‘Sultan’ or the latest ‘Baahubali’.
However, “Baahubali” is making waves across the globe. It has become a trendsetter both in terms of scale and grandeur.
It’s a shining example of ‘Make in India’. Needless to say, it features the home-grown talent and has been produced by our people.
“I am highly impressed with the director and would like to congratulate him for this highly skilled proof work and wonderful achievement which makes India proud,” said M Venkaiah Naidu.
“The language of cinema is universal. The Indian Cinema has showcased the vast diversity of our culture, beautiful landscapes, different languages, and also thereby, promoting our national integration.”
