A DTU student Gets a Job at Uber, will be paid Rs 1.25 Crore Annually

A DTU (Delhi Technological University) Student has been bagged with a job from a US-based-aggregators Uber, which will pay him Rs 1.25 crore (US$ 186,442) annually.

Sidharth Raja, who is a final year student of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at DTU. He has been offered the position of a software engineer in the San Francisco Office of Uber.

His salary includes a basic pay of Rs 77 lakh per annum along with other benefits that turn up into Rs 1.25 Crore, reported by Hindustan Times.sidharth raja

Last year, he had a brief introduction with Uber where he worked as a Software Engineering Intern for three months. In 2015, he had also worked as a research intern at IIT-Delhi for five months.

“I am looking forward to groom my technical skills at Uber before I begin my brainstorming start-up plan. This is, of course, a long-term goal.”

Sidharth Raja, is an alumnus of DPS (Delhi Public School), Vasant Kunj. The final year student’s father works as a consultant, while her mother as a freelancer.

Chetan Bhagat of 2015 batch, was offered the highest paying job, which is around Rs 1.27Crore annually. He was offered by the giant Search Engine Google.
