After her glittering turn on Global globes Award 2017 red carpet, Indian actress Priyanka Chopra had another big moment at the People’s Choice Awards. On Wednesday evening, Priyanka Chopra had received the award for the Favorite Dramatic TV actress award for the role as FBI-recruit-turned-CIA agent Alex Parrish in the TV series Quantico.

However, this isn’t Priyanka’s first People Choice’s Awards. In 2016, she had won Favorite Actress in New TV series for Quantico.

After being announced as the winner in favorite dramatic TV actress category, which also had Kerry Washington and Taraji P Henson in the nomination category, PeeChee hugged her mother, Madhu Chopra, who accompanied her to the Award Show, before heading to the stage.

Priyanka wore a flirty peach ensemble for her red carpet turn at the People’s Choice Awards, held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. She had a strapless top over her with a sweeping asymmetrical hem, teamed with a mid-length skirt that had a tasseled fringe. Strappy metallic sandals and minimal jewelry made her look perfect.

Overwhelmed Priyanka said that she is honored to have been nominated alongside the likes of Pompeo, Davis and many others.

On stage, Priyanka thanked all her co-stars and her fans while receiving the award. She said, “Thank you to all the people. This journey has proved to be one of the incredible ones. Every single woman, that were nominated with me today …all these actresses were the reason that I joined television. They are the reason that I am here today receiving the award. Belonging to the same category is just so overwhelming.

But Priyanka was not yet done even after her acceptance speech. Over-enthusiastic Priyanka continued, “I really psyched. Can I do a little wiggle?” She then sarcastically dismissed by saying “It’s the concussion talking”.

The crowd burst out into cheers and laughter, Priyanka signs off saying: This meant the world to me. It appeared that Dwayne Johson, her co-star in Baywatch and her mother clapped the loudest.
