Reliance Jio unveils Rs 303 plan; No roaming charges from April 1

On Tuesday, the Chairman of Reliance Group Mukesh Ambani said that his Venture Jio has crossed a base of 100 million customers in just 170 days. No doubt, Reliance Jio will start charging their customers from April 1, but with sharply discounted prices. This facility will be available for those customers who had signed up by the end of March.

The customers who had signed until March 31 will enjoy free voice calls and unlimited data for one year with a Rs 303 plan offer. The enrollment of the plan would cost a one-time fee of Rs 99.

As Mukesh Ambani launched the Rs 303 plan for Reliance Jio, rival Bharti Airtel shares have been added down 2.5%.

According to the traffic plan, Jio will provide 20 percent data than the other operators. It will also match the highest selling price than others.

Reliance Jio will offer a prime membership form March 1. Interested customers can enroll for the same by paying a one-time fee of Rs 99. They can enjoy services for the next 12 months after the enrollment.

Mukesh Ambani thanked Reliance Jio for the unpredicted responses from the customers from the last six months.

Ambani said, “Seven customers added every single second since launch”, addressing the shareholders.

Jio users have consumed over 100 Crore GB data, almost 3.3 Crore/day making India the Number 1 in mobile data usage.

Jio nearly carries 5.5 Crore hours of video daily. It has become double the number of 4 GB stations when compared with other Indian operators.

“We are making our network stronger and faster every day”, says Ambani.

No roaming charges will be applied and no blackout days either. Jio prime members can enjoy this unlimited offer until 31st March 2018.
