# Amazon Fraud. No doubt that the e-commerce sites have made things very easy for us, but there’s a bad side to the situation too. A lot many fraud cases are revealed everyday on the internet. The recent trending fraud is the Amazon Fraud. Kamlesh Neema, a resident of Mumbai has accused the multinational Company , Amazon, of a fraud.
The story of Amazon Fraud
The incident is reported to occur on February 26, when Kamlesh Neema ordered gold coins from the e commerce site amazon.in. On receiving the order, he opened the package to get an empty box with no sign of any coin.
Three months passed and he didn’t received any claim or refund from the company, when he took to social media for his help. He started using #AmazonFraud on a micro blogging site, along with many others who demanded money back from Amazon. The gold Coins were worth a whopping Rs 1,38,852 , the refund of which is still pending.
Usually, the person whose name and contact number is provided by the company, is supposed to make the delivery. However, in this case, an unknown person came to deliver the box to Kamlesh. He spotted something fishy in the matter when he was unpacking the box and the delivery boy ran away before the box was opened. Since the revelation of the fraud, there has been an array of emails sent and received by Kamlesh and the company.
After being trending on twitter, the amazon fraud has also gathered many sarcastic comments by the readers. Many of them have even reported their incidents and uploaded pictures of the same too. Few of them are stated below,
