WhatsApp brings up new features for Windows phone Update

WhatsApp has updated the Windows phone App with new designs and new features. The update arrives for WhatsApp Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile app. It bumps to a version up to 2.17.52.

Previously, users could only be able to share photos with a maximum of ten in numbers at the same time only. This was a big issue for many people when sharing photos and videos with other friends after a wedding or a holiday trip. But, now with the v2.17.52 update for Windows Phone, the sharing of media files limit has increased up to 30 files. Now, users can share both photos and videos in a bulky amount.  IPhone users got a similar update in cap limits, while it’s still in beta for Android users.

Reports say that Whatsapp also brought a new re-designed homepage, that essentially switches to Microsoft’s new pivot style which is seen in many native apps like People and Photos.

Whatsapp is now working with the Status Messages as well. The latest beta version of Whatsapp of Windows phone shows that the Facebook-owned company brings new functionalities on improving Status Section. Whatsapp will give notifications; every time the user changes its status. It also allows to mute and unmute a status notification for particular users, even you also get to know the list, if requires. This ability has been seen in Whatsapp beta in Windows 2.17.44+ version.

The New Whatsapp feature will let you reply to your contact’s status Message, this is the feature borrowed from Snapchat stories. The new feature only will notify users about the change in status from the contacts. There are lots of improvements coming for the WhatsApp Status feature, most notably the push notification and the ability to delete the status within 24 hours.
